This was my first year attending the San Francisco Fashion Awards and it was very memorable. I got invited by Marciella Olague, a San Francisco based designer, to be her lead hairstylist for the show. We decided to go with a sleek top knot/bun and add gold touch. The makeup was based off our shoot we did with Fashion Xchange Magazine for The Avant Garde Issue | No. 10, we kept the theme going with the dramatic eye.
The first model (pictured below) Karina Lamar, also walked for House of Ccuoco, another SF based designer who debuted her line in London this year( http://ccuoco.com), that is why her hair is different from the rest.
Also we had two models wear hats that Marciella made, so we just kept their hair down and sleek.

Maricella Olague won the award as San Francisco's Best Emerging Designer!!
